Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mister Magpie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jan Olszewicz!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Albert Achterberg and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magpie tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Olszewicz was well out of range. Poor timing from Magpie.
Magpie pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Magpie throws a leg kick but Olszewicz sees it coming and moves out of range.
Mister Magpie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Magpie throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Magpie dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Olszewicz. That did some damage!
Olszewicz uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Magpie misses with a head kick.
Magpie lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Magpie stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Olszewicz checks a leg kick nicely.
Magpie connects with a body shot that sends Olszewicz's belly button to the back.

Magpie lands a slapping body shot.
Magpie dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Olszewicz. That did some damage!
Olszewicz takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Magpie digs a good hook to Olszewicz's body.
Magpie fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Olszewicz has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Magpie connects with a solid leg kick.
Magpie scoring well with a low kick there.
Magpie throws a body punch but Olszewicz moves out of range.
A nice leg kick lands there from Magpie.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Good leg kick by Magpie there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

and Olszewicz counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Magpie's guard now.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Olszewicz drops back looking for a leg! Magpie is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Magpie manages to kick Olszewicz off! Olszewicz jumps back into Magpie's guard.
Magpie is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Olszewicz avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Olszewicz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Magpie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Olszewicz is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Magpie uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Magpie misses with a hook to the body

and Olszewicz counters with a shoot takedown. Magpie fights it but they end up in guard.
Olszewicz controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Olszewicz drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Olszewicz as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Magpie screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Olszewicz! Nice submission victory there!
