The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Afolayan looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Afolayan tries to score a body lock takedown but Love shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Afolayan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Love throws a looping overhand right but Afolayan ducks down to avoid it.
Afolayan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Afolayan wants it to stay on the feet.

Love closes this distance looking for a takedown but Afolayan circles away.
Afolayan doesn't manage to clinch there - Love circles away.
Love will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Man tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hadjiev paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Man scores with a kick to the midsection.
Beast Man seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Man feints a jab promting Hadjiev to slip. Man then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Hadjiev slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like Alex Hadjiev has been cut.
Hadjiev keeps the fight on the outside.
Man tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hadjiev swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Man is looking to clinch but Hadjiev is avoiding it.
Man is looking to clinch.

Man gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hadjiev cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
