The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Devil throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Jimmy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Devil blocks a head kick by Jimmy.
Jimmy uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Devil.
Devil throws a leg kick but Jimmy moved away.
Devil avoids the head kick by Jimmy.
Devil throws a looping overhand right but Jimmy ducks down to avoid it.
Devil swinging wildly here.
Jimmy walks into a straight right hand from Devil.
Jimmy missing with a left hand there. Devil was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Devil connects with a single shot there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jimmy slips a jab from Devil.

Jimmy lands a big head kick that sends Devil tumbling to the mat! Jimmy takes a step backwards and waves Devil back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Dallas Devil has been cut.

and Jimmy counters with a nice right hand that sends Devil toppling to the canvas! Devil scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Jimmy finish him?!

Jimmy tries a head kick but it misses.
Devil moves out of range of the leg kick from Jimmy.
A punch lands to the side of Jimmy 's head but he takes it in his stride.

and as Devil loses concentration momentarily, Jimmy counters with a picture perfect head kick! Devil goes down, out cold! The referee rushed in to check on his condition - I'm sure he'll be ok but that was a massive knockout!

Mallly throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Araya was covering up waiting for the punch and Mallly finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Araya wants to stand up but Mallly is controlling him.
Mallly distracts Araya with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Araya utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Mallly trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Mallly stops Araya from standing up.
Mallly loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Mallly controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Mallly won't allow Araya to get back to his feet.

Sanchez shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Sanchez feints and then cracks Mean's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mean down.
Mean looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sanchez is fending him off so far but Mean persists. Nope, Sanchez circles away and we're back to standing.
Sanchez feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Mean's calf.
Sanchez is looking to chop away at Mean's legs.

Mean shoots in and gets a takedown into Sanchez's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Mean trying to control the position from guard on top but Sanchez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Mean drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Sanchez manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Mean has Sanchez in his guard.

Sanchez got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mean has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sanchez has managed to get both his arms back between Mean's legs - danger averted.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mean looking for a sweep. Not yet Mean, not yet.

Mean pushes a forearm under Sanchez's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Sanchez is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Hall might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Bows has got the better of the exchanges.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Crain gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Johnson drops back looking for a leg! Crain is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Crain manages to kick Johnson off! Johnson jumps back into Crain's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Johnson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Johnson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Crain knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Johnson on the ground.
