Ground and pound from Mattews.

Mattews in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Bang Bro tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Mattews!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Matt Mattews!
Matt Mattews retains his heavyweight title!
A very excited looking Matt Mattews made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
