The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ives lands an overhand right.

Izzo moves into the clinch.
Ives stops a takedown attempt from Izzo.
Izzo tries to pull guard but Ives holds him up against the cage and eventually Izzo drops back down to his feet.
Ives is pushing Izzo up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Ives pushes Izzo back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Ives misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Izzo content to slow the pace in the clinch.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Russell Ives.
Well Ives has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Wang Hongwen.
I think Hongwen has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saber will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Saber's jab looks to have found its range, popping Duo under the eye.

Duo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Saber was covering up waiting for the punch and Duo finishes the takedown easily into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Saber has his foot on Duo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Duo works his way back into a safe position though.

Saber is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Duo frees his head nicely. Oh but Saber has switched to an armbar! Duo is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
