McGuiness comes into the arena with Bare in the Basin - Gaelic Storm blaring out of the sound system. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Scorpien Rua was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGuiness looks for a takedown but Rua sprawls well.

A jab-cross combination lands for McGuiness and sends Rua crashing to the mat! McGuiness follows him down to the mat - Rua regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

It looks like Scorpien Rua has been cut.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Freedom slips a straight right by McCormick.

McCormick displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Freedom throws out the jab.
A bone on bone clash there as McCormick blocks the leg kick.

Johnny Freedom showed his dominance in that final round.
