The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

mcgee looks for a takedown but Bruno sprawls well.
Bruno comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bruno stalks mcgee and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into mcgee's face. mcgee staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like thick legg mcgee has been cut.
Bruno throws a big overhand right that connects, sending mcgee tumbling to the canvas!
mcgee wants to sweep here but Bruno controlling him for the moment.
Bruno wanted to stand there but mcgee had control of the position.
mcgee working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bruno doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bruno manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bruno stands up and waves to mcgee to follow him.
Bruno connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Bruno fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Bruno lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
That has opened up thick legg mcgee's cut even more.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bruno lands with an uppercut that bounces mcgee off the cage and back into rage.
Bruno connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends mcgee to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Bruno!

Boujrad displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Water.
Otman Boujrad seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boujrad pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Water throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
A slapping body kick lands there for Boujrad.
Boujrad stuffs the takedown attempt from Water. Water gets slowly back to his feet.
Boujrad lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Water backs up against the cage.
Water shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dish Water. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Boujrad lands with a nice body kick.
Water fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Water goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Water moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Boujrad throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Boujrad misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Water tries for a takedown but Boujrad sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Water is breathing heavily.
Water shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Boujrad sprawls well. Boujrad wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Water gets slowly back to his feet.
