The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffin swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hawkins counters with a low kick, right behind Griffin 's knee.
Griffin throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Griffin throws a right hand that Hawkins ducks under and follows up with a left that Hawkins also avoids with ease.
Griffin throws a left and a right that both miss
and Hawkins counters with a stiff right hand.

It looks like Phil Griffin has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hawkins gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Griffin lands a two punch combo.

and Hawkins counters with a nice low kick that buckles Griffin's knee momentarily.

and Hawkins counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Griffin badly! Hawkins follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Griffin out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Hawkins finished him against the cage.

Oooooh!!! Stout has knocked Mitrione down with a huge combo! Stout steps away and waves a wobbly Mitrione back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Matt Mitrione has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Mitrione.

Stout drops Mitrione with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Mitrione looks back up at him and smiles so Stout waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

and Mitrione counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Mitrione.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Mitrione stumbles back but Stout runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Mitrione to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Mitrione will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Huey tries to bum rush Pearmine with a series of wild strikes but Pearmine uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Pearmine shoots for a double leg takedown but Huey sprawls well. He's pushed Pearmine's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Huey cracks Pearmine with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Pearmine falls to his knees and Huey doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Reynolds feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Reynolds stands and steps away. Eaton gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Reynolds closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ygor Savage.
