The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Berger closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Victorio quickly recovers to half guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and Berger counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Berger manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Victorio on his heels. He'll look to pass Victorio's guard now, I'm sure.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Victorio. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Berger tries to free his leg and advance position but Victorio is retaining full guard.

Victorio isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Berger stacks Victorio on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Berger!
Berger has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Berger uses his free foot to push down on Victorio's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Victorio.
Berger is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Victorio can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

He's trying desperately to grab hold of Berger around the waist but Berger pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Berger is the winner by TKO! Berger jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
