The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Messer drops his hands momentarily and Fist takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Fist's jab looks to have found its range, popping Messer under the eye.

No joy there for Fist, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Messer pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Uzi pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Capwell tries desperately to hold on but Uzi is relentless in his assault! As Capwell receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Uzi away and this one is in the books!

Undercard bout

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jackie Treehorn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Pinto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackie Treehorn had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!
