Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bean shoots in for a takedown but Hogan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Sloppy strikes from Bean. Those never looked like landing.
Bean throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Hogan shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bean sprawls well. Bean wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hogan gets slowly back to his feet.
Bean throws a right and a left that Hogan avoids nicely.

and Bean decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hogan 's guard.
Bean has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Bean drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hogan manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bean has Hogan in his guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bean has his feet on Hogan 's thighs here. He's pushed Hogan off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Hogan screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Zhukov drops Cooper with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Cooper looks back up at him and smiles so Zhukov waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Cooper walks straight into a right hand from Zhukov - that's dropped him! Zhukov jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Cooper from any more punishment! Cooper complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
