The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Alves looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Rovigatti instigates a clinch.
Rovigatti unloads a knee to the mid-section.

Rovigatti drags the fight down to the ground.
Rovigatti manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Alves manages to get himself to full guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rovigatti stands and steps away. Alves gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Alves should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Rovigatti's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Alves is not content to let Rovigatti control the position.

Rovigatti throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Alves.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Rovigatti tries to clinch there but Alves circles away.
Rovigatti tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Alves manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Alves avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Rovigatti closes the distance and clinches.
Rovigatti crunches a lovely knee into Alves's ribcage.

Rovigatti decides to pull guard.

Rovigatti has his feet on Alves's thighs here. He's pushed Alves off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Alves screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Mabuva drops Axe with a beautiful combination! Axe stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Mabuva is looking for the KO!

It looks like Zombo Axe has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mabuva misses with a low kick as Axe jumps back.

Mabuva cracks Axe with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Axe looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Mabuva finish him?

Axe is rocked!
Axe is aggressively charging in as Mabuva backs up avoiding any damage. Mabuva tosses out a jab and Axe runs right into it face first! Axe is out cold! Mabuva dropped down on all fours and is barking in Axe's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

Robinson changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Au Ditore fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Altair Au Ditore has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Byongsun Robinson.

Robinson rushes Au Ditore and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Robinson lands an elbow that stopped Au Ditore in his tracks for a moment.

It looks like Altair Au Ditore has been cut.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Au Ditore got a little sloppy there for a moment and Robinson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Au Ditore has managed to get both his arms back between Robinson's legs - danger averted.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Au Ditore is sitting in close to Robinson's body. Robinson has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Au Ditore is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Au Ditore is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Robinson.

Kotaro tries to clinch but Zidane is having none of it.
Zidane lands a head shot.
Kotaro throws a head kick but Zidane moves out of range.
Zidane lands a leg kick that knocks Kotaro off balance momentarily.
Zidane dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kotaro. That did some damage!
Zidane really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Zidane throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kotaro stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Zidane fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kotaro.
Zidane comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Kotaro takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Kotaro throws a head kick but Zidane moves out of range.
Zidane looks to land a combination but Kotaro avoids it well.
An inside leg kick from Zidane misses.
Zidane thumps Kotaro with a low kick.
Zidane tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kotaro was well out of range. Poor timing from Zidane.

Kotaro throws an overhand right that lands on Zidane's shoulder, as Zidane tries to avoid the shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kotaro stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Zidane.
Kotaro doesn't manage to clinch there - Zidane circles away.
Zidane lands with a thumping leg kick.

Kotaro on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
