The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut there from Bane.
Murphy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bane tries to avoid it but Murphy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bane to the ground. Bane escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Murphy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bane's waist but Bane gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Murphy off to one side.

Bane has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Murphy takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Bane, as that shot connected.
Bane lands with a nice body punch.
Bane throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Murphy on the side of the head.
Bane cracks Murphy with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Murphy tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Bane pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Murphy is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
