The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cent throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Lincoln closes the distance and clinches up with Cent, looking for a takedown. Lincoln pushes Cent against the cage but Cent circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That kick from Lincoln tenderised Cent's leg. Cent is trying to keep his angry face on.
Alexander Lincoln seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Blaze wants to clinch up but Johnson keeps it at a distance.
Some bone on bone action there as Johnson checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Blaze thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Johnson if he has to take too many more of those.
Blaze throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Johnson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Blaze is just riding it out for now. Johnson eventually gives up the hold.

Blaze turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Johnson off and cradles Blaze's limp body as Johnson celebrates with his corner.

Pettis is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Shields asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Shields has hold of Pettis's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Pettis tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Shields cranks the arm and Pettis screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Pettis, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
