Lima throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lima fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Goldsmith looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Goldsmith slips under a jab.
Lima lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Goldsmith at a distance.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Goldsmith takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Lima scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Lima dips to his left and cracks Goldsmith with an uppercut!
Goldsmith closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Lima fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Lima.
Lima closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Goldsmith! Lima dives in looking to finish! Goldsmith is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ka Lima!
During a confident post fight interview, Ka Lima thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
