Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between El Chupacabra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gareth Wilcox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). El Chupacabra had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 172.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Gareth Wilcox has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with El Chupacabra's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chupacabra sizes up Wilcox with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Wilcox misses with a low kick as Chupacabra jumps back.

Chupacabra moves into the clinch.
Wilcox lands a nice shot to the body.
Chupacabra avoiding damage as Wilcox throws knees to the body.
Chupacabra on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Wilcox wants to get back to striking at distance but Chupacabra won't allow it.
Chupacabra drops down looking for an ankle pick but Wilcox pulls his leg out and moves away.

Wilcox displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Chupacabra throws out the jab.

Wilcox avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Wilcox throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Chupacabra shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wilcox pinned against the ropes. Wilcox gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Wilcox has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Chupacabra to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Wilcox is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Chupacabra pulls down on the head and he's put Wilcox to sleep! This one is all over!
