Arias dives in and grabs Lumsden's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lumsden pushes down on Arias's head and hops out.
Lumsden connects with a good right hand that stumbles Arias. Arias circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Lit has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Lit and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Lemieux leaves Bahamut with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Lemieux shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bahamut as he avoids it easily.
Bahamut looks to score with a jab to the body but Lemieux is just out of range.

and Bahamut decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Lemieux's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Lemieux wants to get back to his feet but Bahamut is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Lemieux has momentary wrist control but Bahamut slips an elbow through the middle.
Bahamut stands and throws Lemieux's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Bahamut prevents Lemieux from escaping the position.
Bahamut advances nicely into full mount.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bahamut has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Lemieux's face.

Bahamut postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Lemieux looks a forlorn figure.

Bahamut postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Lemieux in real trouble here! The ref calls for Lemieux to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
