The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanders doesn't manage to clinch there - Palmer circles away.
Palmer's jab looks to have found its range, popping Sanders under the eye.
Sanders tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Palmer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Palmer tries to bum rush Sanders with a series of wild strikes but Sanders uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Palmer circles away from the clinch attempt.

Palmer throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

It looks like Jackson Sanders has been cut.

Nimoh ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Holm moves away.

Holm moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Holm takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nimoh tries to circle away but Holm has him pinned against the cage.
Still in the clinch, Holm scores with a nice short uppercut.
Nimoh throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Nimoh pulls back and lands a big elbow that stuns Holm! Nimoh unloads with more strikes and Holm sinks to his knees! This one is all over!
