The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The crowd cheers as Silva lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kendrick doesn't seem phased though.

Nice straight punches there by Silva. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Silva.
Kendrick throws a head kick but Silva moves out of range.
Kendrick is trying hard to land a takedown here. Silva sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Kendrick closes the distance and clinches.
Kendrick swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Kendrick has hold of one of Silva's legs. Silva is fighting the takedown attempt but Kendrick gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Kendrick tries to get to his feet but Silva is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Kendrick is in need of a savior and steps in!
