The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson stuns Redyan with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Johnson has closed the distance and engaged Redyan in a clinch.

Redyan jumps into guard, dragging Johnson to the mat.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Johnson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Johnson wants to stand but Redyan has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Joe throws a lazy right hand but Timmons sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Timmons uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Joe.
Joe takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Joe stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Timmons tries to score a power double leg takedown but Joe sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Timmons somewhat.

Moses shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Haggen pinned against the cage. Haggen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Moses throws a low kick but it's checked well by Haggen.
Moses takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Haggen manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Moses on his heels. He'll look to pass Moses's guard now, I'm sure.
Moses can't keep his opponent in guard - Haggen advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Haggen is nestled in close to Moses, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Haggen is looking for a kimura but Moses is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Haggen to get the leverage.
