Zhu takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Zhu throws a lazy uppercut

and Cronos counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Zhu is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Cronos wants to control from the top but Zhu keeps moving.
Cronos is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cronos won't allow Zhu to sweep him here.
Cronos tries to free his leg and advance position but Zhu is retaining full guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cronos is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Zhu is just riding it out for now. Cronos eventually gives up the hold.
Cronos takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Cronos is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Zhu tries to kick Cronos off but Cronos keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Cronos prevents Zhu from improving his position.
Zhu moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Cronos wants to control from the top but Zhu keeps moving.

Cronos avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Cronos is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Zhu is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Cronos postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Zhu is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Cronos, into his guard.

Cronos lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Zhu!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cronos will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Zhu is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Zhu tries to lock up and control but Cronos gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Zhu is trying to escape the mount.
Cronos controlling the position easily from mount.
Cronos seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Zhu for as long as he can get away with.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Cronos prevents Zhu from getting the reversal.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sunshine looks to land a combination but Cyr avoids it well.
Cyr moves in looking to clinch but Sunshine pushes him off.
Cyr closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

ORourke tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
ORourke lands with a big left! Gracie is wobbled badly! ORourke comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Gracie to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
