Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chase Chason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Santana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Chase Chason has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Chase Chason seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chason on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Santana lands a nice looking kick to the body. Chason takes a step back to recover.

Chason closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Chason lands in his opponent's guard.

Santana has his foot on Chason's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Chason works his way back into a safe position though.

Chason feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

and Vallely counters with a nice low kick that buckles OReily's knee momentarily.
Vallely moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Vallely has OReily up against the cage in a clinch.

Vallely breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
OReily shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Vallely sprawls well. Vallely wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. OReily gets slowly back to his feet.
