Cronkite shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jacobs sprawls well. Jacobs wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cronkite gets slowly back to his feet.

Cronkite seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jacobs does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Melvin Cronkite has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Horrible takedown by Jacobs or perhaps it was just good defense by Cronkite which made him look bad.

Cronkite changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jacobs looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Melvin Cronkite.
