Undercard bout

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shang Chi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thug Behram (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Behram has chosen 25 Minutes to go as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Behram wants to break free but Chi has control.
Chi is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Behram is looking for a takedown.
Behram doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Behram is looking to take a break and control but Chi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Chi is looking for a sweep. Behram is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That was a close round but I would say that Shang Chi will probably get the nod.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Chi creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Behram has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Chi seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Behram can turn it around.

Chi fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Behram has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Chi fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Behram.

Chi pushes Behram against the cage. Chi is working some dirty boxing. Chi pushes off with a quick right hook! Behram goes down! Behram tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Chi moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Maeda takes one to the side of the head.
Brealey displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Maeda.
Brealey throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Maeda takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Brealey looks to score with a jab to the body but Maeda is just out of range.
Brealey looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Brealey ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Maeda moves away.
Maeda will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Maeda closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Brealey did well to prevent Maeda getting side control.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Pluto Palhares.
