The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



A momentary lapse in concentration from Barreras enables Silva to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Barreras manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Barreras swivels though and keeps the full guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Silva closes the distance and clinches up with Barreras, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes Barreras against the ropes but Barreras circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Barreras tries to close the distance and clinch but Silva swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Barreras scores with a nice body kick.

and Barreras counters with a two punch combo.

Barreras lands a big head kick that sends Silva tumbling to the mat! Barreras takes a step backwards and waves Silva back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oh Silva is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Barreras misses with a head kick.
Barreras throws a sloppy head kick and Silva moves out of range easily.
Silva takes one to the side of the head.

Barreras instigates a clinch.

Barreras breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Nice takedown defense from Barreras. No joy for Silva on that attempt.
Barreras misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

and Barreras counters with a nice leg kick.
Barreras circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Silva drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Barreras follows Silva to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Samuel Barreras!
