The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abdullah tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hunt paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Abdullah ducks straight into an uppercut from Hunt and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Abdullah manages to regain guard straight away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hunt trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Abdullah wants to get back to his feet but Hunt is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Hunt working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

King looks to land a combination but Melo avoids it well.
King throws a hook but Melo avoids it easily.
King swings for the body but Melo moves out of range.

and Melo counters with a right, left combo that wobbles King badly! Melo follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks King out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Melo finished him against the cage.

After the fight, Felipe Melo was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
