The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Buka shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Buka showed some decent athleticism there.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Buka slips a nice elbow through Lis's hands, connecting with Lis's forehead.

Rosaire gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Stroef tries for a takedown but Rosaire manages to get underhooks.

Stroef jumps into guard, dragging Rosaire to the mat.
Stroef bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rosaire's guard.
Rosaire tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Rosaire seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Rosaire escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Stroef gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Rosaire had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Stroef defends it easily.
Stroef is pushing down on Rosaire's leg trying to pass to half guard. Rosaire is fighting to maintain full guard but Stroef has managed to sneak the leg through.
Stroef wants to take a breather but Rosaire is having none of it.
Rosaire really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stroef. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Well Hope has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
