The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Animai rushes Manson and presses him up against the cage.
Manson misses with an elbow strike.
Animai lands a left hand that snaps the head of Manson backwards.

It looks like Charles Manson has been cut.
Manson with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Manson misses with some punches.

Animai breaks the clinch.
Animai throws a jab but it's blocked by Manson.

Animai closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Animai breaks from the clinch.
Manson lands a leg kick that knocks Animai off balance momentarily.
Manson throws a low kick, looking for Animai's leg but Animai calmly moves out of range.
Manson throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Animai drops Manson with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Manson looks back up at him and smiles so Animai waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Manson is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Manson tries to keep at a distance but Animai has taken the fight into the clinch.
Oh Manson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Animai's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Manson seems to have got his legs back now.
Animai cracks Manson with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Manson falls to his knees and Animai doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Keimah Animai was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vlad The Impaler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anderson Jones had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. On his way into the cage it seems that Anderson Jones has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Anderson Jones seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?
