Franklin drops his hands momentarily. Rogers doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Franklin staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Franklin doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Bonan displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gracie throws out the jab.

Gracie doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bonan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gracie.
Pixar Bonan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bonan closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
