The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garena closes this distance looking for a takedown but Smith circles away.

Smith drives through and clinches with Garena against the cage.
Garena drops down looking for an ankle pick but Smith pulls his leg out and moves away.
Smith is looking to clinch.
Garena shoots in and drives through. Smith sprawls well.
Bobby Smith has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lutan Garena.

Garena shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Garena showed some decent athleticism there.

I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Smith has cracked Garena with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Smith lands another huge swinging hook and Garena tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Garena, before Smith can land any more shots!

These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Long on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Long throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Long shoots in but no luck this time.
Long looks to score with a jab to the body but Blackman is just out of range.
Blackman pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A solid leg kick lands there for Long.
Long lands an overhand right.

Long shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Long looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Let's hope that Long has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Bogart will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Bogart is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Gorillaz Feel Good Inc that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
