Laiveta throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Laiveta throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Laiveta wants to slow Pepper down by chopping away at his legs.
Pepper shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Laiveta pinned against the cage. Laiveta gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Laiveta's jab looks to have found its range, popping Pepper under the eye.

The ref is looking closely - Pepper is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Pepper is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
