Rankin closes the distance but Side moves to the side
and Side counters with a nice body shot.
Side throws a quick inside leg kick.
Rankin tries to clinch
and Side counters with a nice low kick that buckles Rankin's knee momentarily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rankin.
Joe Rankin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
An inside leg kick lands from Side.
Side dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Rankin. That did some damage!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dark Side.

Destroyer lands a left and a right that send Yang crashing to the mat, dazed. Destroyer thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

and Destroyer counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Yang badly! Destroyer follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Yang out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Destroyer finished him against the cage.
