Patterson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Patterson throws a hook but Lang avoids it easily.
Patterson closes the distance and clinches up with Lang, looking for a takedown. Patterson pushes Lang against the cage but Lang circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Patterson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lang is fending him off so far but Patterson persists. Nope, Lang circles away and we're back to standing.
Lang lunges at Patterson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Patterson's hand.
Lang stuffs the takedown.
Clubber Lang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rocky Patterson.

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edgar Hoover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Mayhem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hoover might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ecstasy of Gold. Mayhem has chosen Bullet With A Name by Nonpoint as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?
