Chan throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Nocturne tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Chan is in Nocturne's guard.

Light changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Maria tries to avoid it but Light manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Maria to the ground. Maria escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Light tries to score a power double leg takedown but Maria sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Light somewhat.
A head kick from Maria lands but Light takes it in his stride.

and Maria counters with a crisp one two that drops Light! Maria thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Light to his feet! Light is in big trouble!
