This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Gracielo. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

McGordon feints and then cracks Gracielo's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Gracielo down.
McGordon fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Gracielo on the side of the head.

McGordon misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
McGordon fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gracielo looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Main event

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andre Payette (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Jones's choice of entrance music: Oasis - Fuckin' In The Bushes. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Payette feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
