The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Reaper, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Reaper throws a series of punches but Jared moves out of range.
Jared throws the kick towards the body but Reaper avoids it.
Jared throws a body kick that misses.
Jared closes this distance looking for a takedown but Reaper circles away.
The fighters circle momentarily. Jared darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
A head kick misses from Jared.
Jared fails in his attempt to clinch.
Reaper feints a jab promting Jared to slip. Reaper then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Jared slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Jared throws a jab but it's blocked by Reaper.

Reaper shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jared's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Reaper gets to his feet. Jared looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Reaper misses with the combination.
Reaper throws a nice looking combination but Jared bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Jared is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Sloppy strikes from Reaper. Those never looked like landing.

Reaper throws a right and a left that Jared avoids nicely.
Reaper fails to land with a series of punches.
Jared closes the distance but Reaper moves to the side
and Reaper counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Jared dives in for a single leg takedown but Reaper sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the ropes.
Jared jumps guard but Reaper stands there with Jared around his waist. Jared gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Devils Reaper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kaleimalulani Jared.
Jared jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Reaper walks away with a smile on his face. Jared gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
