Vehree lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Brahim connects with a looping right hand.

It looks like Juan Quan has been cut.
Quan keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Brahim.
A punch lands to the side of Quan 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Quan shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Brahim napping and manages to drive through into side control!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Quan tries for a kimura but Brahim is defending well.
Brahim takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Quan is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Quan gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Quan gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Quan apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Quan could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
