Fist seems a little lost for a moment, as Beaudry dominates the positioning.
Fist takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Beaudry is stalling here. Fist is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Beaudry seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Fist has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

so Anderson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Anderson passes Simmons's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Simmons slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Anderson wants to control from the top but Simmons keeps moving.
Simmons controls Anderson momentarily but Anderson frees himself.
Al Simmons is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Anderson stays in close to Simmons's body and controls the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Sloppy strikes from Simmons. Those never looked like landing.
Simmons tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Anderson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Sparky Anderson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Simmons wants to clinch up but Anderson keeps it at a distance.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sparky Anderson.
I think Simmons has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
