Moore moves in looking to clinch but Tarasov pushes him off.
Tarasov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Moore moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Moore takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Tarasov lands with a shot to the body.

Tarasov feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Moore sprawling to the canvas! Moore rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Tarasov finish him?!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tarasov lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Moore up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Tarasov from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Moore's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mikhail Tarasov!
