The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tanner tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Torres manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Torres looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Tanner is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Torres works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Tanner has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Torres is working away from the top position though.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kurucz looks to land a body kick but Ruskov moved away.
Kurucz lands a high kick!

It looks like Mario Ruskov has been cut.
Ruskov showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kurucz.
Kurucz misses with a wild combination.
Ruskov goes for a double leg but Kurucz avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kurucz continues to drive forward.

Kurucz's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kurucz has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Ruskov is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Kurucz scores with a one two! Ruskov had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
