Undercard bout

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joe Hollis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dexter Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hollis might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to UGK - Pocket Full of Stones. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hollis tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Morgan paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Joe Hollis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hollis is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Morgan.
Morgan has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
A slapping leg kick lands for Morgan.
Morgan takes a swing at Hollis's ribcage but misses.
Hollis misses with a series of wild punches.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Morgan.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Hollis is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Morgan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That was a close round but I would say that Joe Hollis will probably get the nod.
