The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brandon shoots for a takedown but Bishop saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Bishop connects with a crisp jab.
Bishop stuns Brandon with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Bishop looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Brandon tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bishop sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Brandon somewhat.
Bishop swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Brandon.
Brandon dives in and grabs Bishop's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bishop pushes down on Brandon's head and hops out.
Damien Bishop has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Junior Brandon.
Brandon shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Bishop counters with a two punch combo.

Brandon walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Bishop rushes Brandon with punches - Brandon moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Brandon goes down! Bishop follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
