Kiram tries to clinch there but Kono circles away.
Kono cracks Kiram with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Kiram tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Kono pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Kiram is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hideo Kono!
Hideo Kono seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
