Izmailov will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Izmailov tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Cardozo defends well and Izmailov ends up having to push Cardozo into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Shamrock lands a big right hand that sends Dean crashing to the mat! Shamrock stays standing though and waves Dean back to his feet!

Dean shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Shamrock sprawls well. Shamrock wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dean gets slowly back to his feet.
Oh Dean is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Dean closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Shamrock's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
