Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Oscar Lola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Rocket (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnny Rocket told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Rocket darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Rocket thows a left - swing and a miss!
Rocket looks to land a combination but Lola avoids it well.
Rocket shoots in but no luck this time.
Rocket swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A swing and a miss from Rocket.
Rocket misses with a hook.
Lola throws a series of punches but Rocket avoids them all with ease.
Rocket feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Lolas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Rocket lands a jab to the head.
Rocket throws a jab but it's blocked by Lola.

Rocket changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lola looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Lola tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Rocket wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Rocket is working Lola over with some ground and pound from side control.
Rocket scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Lola to see if he's OK.
Rocket looks up at the clock and then as Lola takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Rocket smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Rocket postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Lola in real trouble here! The ref calls for Lola to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Tischer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miles Fonta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tischer comes into the arena with Smells Like A Freakshow blaring out of the sound system. Marcus Tischer had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!
