A bone on bone clash there as Aki blocks the leg kick.

Aki rushes Maya and presses him up against the ropes.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Aki is trying to maintain a safe position but Maya gets an underhook and turns Aki into the ropes.

Maya manages to break the clinch.
Maya fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Maya throws a one two combo.
Aki paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Maya misses with a head kick.
Aki's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Aki just misses with a punch to the body.
Aki defending well as Maya loads up on a big left hand.
Aki misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Aki lands a slapping body shot.

Nice jab there from Maya.
Maya walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Aki checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Maya throws out a leg kick but Aki moves out of range and Maya only half commits.

and Aki counters with a nice low kick that buckles Maya's knee momentarily.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Maya throws a head kick but Aki moves out of range.
Aki fails in his attempt to clinch.

Aki lands a left and a right that send Maya crashing to the mat, dazed. Aki thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Razor Maya dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

It looks like Razor Maya has been cut.
Aki misses with an elbow over the top.
Aki keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Maya's efforts to push away.
Maya lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Maya wants to get back to striking at distance but Aki won't allow it.
Aki stalls.
Aki creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Maya's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Maya drops to his knees and Aki pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Purple Aki!
