Freely gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kula to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Kula seems to be working for a kimura but Freely defends the submission attempt.

Saukko has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Falconowski is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Falconowski closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Falconowski lands in his opponent's guard.
Falconowski has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Saukko working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Falconowski doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Falconowski manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Saukko has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Falconowski is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Saukko.
