A momentary lapse in concentration from Rytkonen enables Koutras to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Rytkonen manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Koutras stays in close to Rytkonen's body and controls the position.
Rytkonen utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevenson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jag swivels and escapes.

Stevenson feints and as Jag raises his hands in defense, Stevenson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Stevenson's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Jag is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stevenson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Stevenson looks up at the clock and then as Jag takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Stevenson smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The referee asks Stevenson politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Stevenson prefers to stall for the moment though.
Jag tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Stevenson pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Stevenson softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Jag is out cold! Stevenson jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
