Putting with a jab.
Putting defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hicks.

Hicks with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Putting to score with a decent uppercut.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Putting has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Putting displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

It looks like Lewis Hicks has been cut.
Putting slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Putting cracks Hicks with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Putting stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
