The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sikhouasvili leaves Powarenko with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Sikhouasvili missing with a left hand there. Powarenko was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Sikhouasvili connects with a good right hand that stumbles Powarenko. Powarenko circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

It looks like Slavonik Powarenko has been cut.
Sikhouasvili connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Powarenko momentarily.
Sikhouasvili lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Sikhouasvili lands a big uppercut and Powarenko crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Powarenko looks OK. Sikhouasvili waves Powarenko back to his feet!

Sikhouasvili throws a jab but it's blocked by Powarenko.
Powarenko is still on wobbly legs! Can Sikhouasvili finish him?
Sikhouasvili connects with a body shot that sends Powarenko's belly button to the back.
Sikhouasvili is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Powarenko flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Powarenko is out cold! Sikhouasvili holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Fane throws a right and a left that Barbossa avoids nicely.
Fane misses with a hook. Barbossa ducked under it nicely.
Fane showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Barbossa.
Fane throws a series of punches but Barbossa avoids them all with ease.
Barbossa definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Fane throws a jab but it's blocked by Barbossa.
Fane throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Barbossa on the side of the head.
Fane connects with the punch.
Barbossa uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Fane.
Sloppy strikes from Barbossa. Those never looked like landing.

and Barbossa counters with a crisp one two that drops Fane! Barbossa thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Fane to his feet! Fane is in big trouble!

Barbossa throws an overhand right that has Fane reeling! Barbossa follows up with more punches and Fane is out cold! This one is all over!

A very excited looking Xavier Barbossa rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

and Martell counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Ramirez thinking.
